You start reading motivational quotes about taking action on your goal (because that’s what the experts tell you you’re supposed to do).

And then, you start trying to achieve your goal.
The first day, it feels pretty good.
Maybe a little challenging because you’re trying to incorporate a bunch of new habits into your life, but overall, you feel really accomplished.
On Day 2, things were a little better still. These new habits are starting to feel good and you can already see the benefits.
By Day 3, it all starts feeling a lot more challenging.
You want to feel excited again, but mostly, you just feel scared.
You say the positive affirmations, but they don’t seem to have much effect.
You read a few motivational quotes and they kind of get you fired up, but it doesn’t last for very long.
