Tired of the complaining?

The number of “business coaches” who complain about other business coaches is off the charts.

And the “complaining” usually sounds something like this (tell us if this is familiar to you) –

“How can you teach business success if you’ve never had any yourself?”

“Most business coaches take a weekend seminar and then just teach what they learned”

“Most business coaches suck. They don’t even practice what they preach”

Fundamentally, do we agree?

Yes.

We think that many business coaches should stop saying things like “success”, “heart-centric” or “authentic” unless they actually ARE those things.

But we also don’t see it our place to stand in judgement over other people.

Here’s the real scoop for us, though.

“Mindset Matters Most”

All of a sudden, we’re seeing it, reading it and hearing it everywhere.

And do you know where we’re seeing it most?

From the business coaches who complain about other business coaches not having the qualifications required to be a business coach.

No joke.

Case in point.

An excerpt from a message we received just last week –

“I invested $5,000 into a business coaching program, but it hasn’t worked for me. I think the material is great, but I’m just not using it properly. There was a mindset piece in the program… It was very good, but I don’t think it had much of an impact on me”

A mindset piece?

We don’t own the rights to mindset and we don’t pretend that we do, but we’ve made a living from teaching the stuff we actually know about…

… Not just buzzwords that people recognize as important.

We’re not complaining about business coaches who add mindset pieces to their programs, though.

Sure, we think that many business coaches should stop saying things like “mindset”, “unconscious” or “mental-emotional limits” unless they actually understand them AND have used them well in their OWN lives.

But we also don’t see it our place to stand in judgement over other people.

“Service-centric” simply means that you’re in business for the purpose of serving others.

That you intend to earn great wealth by adding REAL value to people’s lives.

Service and value.

Neither of those words have ANYTHING to do with complaining at people for teaching stuff they know nothing about, or – in a true hypocritical nature – actually teaching stuff you know nothing about.

Yes, successful business coaching involves A LOT more than just reading books and issuing basic advice.

And YES, successfully helping an entrepreneur (or anyone) unravel the mental-emotional limits that keep them stuck in life involves A LOT more than just reading motivational quotes and issuing basic encouragement.

The mental-emotional limits of an entrepreneur is what keeps them stuck in neutral.

Unable to do the kinds of things they want to do with their business and life.
