It’s never sexy.
But without understanding it, nothing you ever want to accomplish is going to work.
“Know where you stand”
That’s Rule #1.
And it remains the most underappreciated, completely ignored or glanced over step in the entire success process.
If you’re looking for financial freedom, every single wealth expert on the planet will tell you to start in the exact same place –
Track your monthly expenditures so you know how much money you have available to invest.
If you’re looking for weight loss, every single nutrition expert on the planet will tell you to start in the exact same place –
Track your daily food in-take so you know how many calories you’re eating now.
If you’re looking for entrepreneurial success, every single business expert on the planet will tell you to start in the exact same place –
Track your weekly activities so you know what your current productivity levels are.
Know where you stand.
Before ANY changes can be made to your habits, behaviors or actions, you absolutely MUST know what your current habits, behaviors or actions are.
It’s one of the reasons that New Year’s Resolutions, Goals and Positive Affirmations remain so incredibly ineffective…
… They’re about creating “blind change” in the absence of “full vision”.
Eliminating your limits involves the very simple process of restructuring your internal dialogue to better fit the goals, dreams and aspirations you have for your life.
But that will ONLY work if you already know what kind of internal dialogue you currently have.
Would you trust the advice of a mechanic who didn’t look at your car before telling you what needed to be repaired?
Would you trust the prescription of your doctor who didn’t perform a diagnostic evaluation before telling you what medication to take?
Neither would we.
And neither should you.
What are you saying to yourself every day of your life?
What language do you use to define your own limits?
THAT’S where the process of creating success in your world starts.
But so incredibly necessary.
